We detail the style settings for you so that you can more easily use AutoCaptions and fully benefit from its features.
AutoCaptions Style
AutoCut lets you fully customize the appearance and animation of your captions using AutoCaptions.
Here's how to set up your style step by step :
→ Font & Color
- Font: Select the font you want from the dropdown list.
- Text Color: Choose the default color for your captions.
This will be the base style for all words that are not being highlighted.
→ Animation & Highlight
When a word is spoken, you can choose to highlight it with a different style:
- Highlighted Word Color: Set a different color to emphasize the word currently being spoken.
- Bigger font: Increase the size of the word currently being spoken.
- Floating Text: Activate this option to apply a smooth, random floating motion to the entire caption. It adds a dynamic and engaging visual effect.
- Text Box (Optional): Add a background box behind each word or sentence. You can customize: opacity, padding, corner radius
→ Transitions
You can animate how captions appear on screen with transitions:
- Zoom In: The caption scales up as it appears.
- Blur In: The caption starts blurry and becomes sharp.
- Zoom + Blur: Combine both for more impact.
Pick the one that fits your style best.
→ Text Format
Customize the visual formatting of your captions:
- Remove Punctuation: Clean and minimalist style.
- All Uppercase: Converts all text to CAPITALS.
- Italic: Add emphasis with italic styling.
- Glow Effect: Add glow to your text with customizable:
- Glow Color
- Intensity
→ Outline
Add an outline (stroke) around your text for better visibility:
- Outline Color: Choose any color you like.
- Thickness: Set the stroke width (in pixels) to your preference.
→ Text Box (Global)
Enable a full text box that surrounds the entire caption line, not just individual words. Ideal for subtitles that need to stand out on busy backgrounds.
