What to do if AutoCut runs slowly on your Windows ?
👉 If you're on MacOs, follow this article instead.
If you notice that AutoCut feels a bit slow or laggy on your Windows computer, don’t worry—there’s a quick fix.
Some computers, especially older or less powerful ones, can struggle to display interface animations smoothly. To help with that, AutoCut gives you the option to disable UI animations directly from the settings. This makes the interface more responsive and ensures a smoother editing experience.
How to disable UI animations in AutoCut
- Open AutoCut in your editor (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
- Go to Settings (⚙️ icon in the AutoCut panel).
- Find the option Disable UI animations.
- Toggle it on.
AutoCut will immediately run with fewer visual effects, reducing the load on your computer and speeding up the interface.
