What are AutoZoom adjustment layers?
When you generate zooms with AutoZoom, the plugin automatically creates adjustment layers in your timeline. These layers are placed above your video clips on the video tracks.

Each zoom created by AutoZoom has its own adjustment layer. Depending on the zoom style you selected (Jump Cut, Smooth, Snap-in), the adjustment layer will contain different animation properties and keyframes.
Why does AutoZoom use adjustment layers?
Using adjustment layers keeps your original clips untouched while applying the zoom effect on top of them. This approach allows you to:
- Easily move or delete zoom effects
- Modify the animation without altering the clip itself
How to modify an AutoZoom adjustment layer
If you want to adjust a zoom effect, you can edit the adjustment layer just by:
- Select the adjustment layer created by AutoZoom in your timeline.
- Open the Effect Controls panel.
- Modify the keyframes to adjust the timing of the zoom animation.
- Adjust the Scale Height and Scale Width values to change the zoom intensity.
By modifying these parameters, you can fine-tune the zoom effect to better match your edit.
