AutoCut works both locally and externally, depending on the feature you’re using.

• Some processes (like timeline analysis or local rendering) run directly on your computer
• Others (such as transcription or AI-based detection) may require cloud processing to ensure better performance and speed

However, your data is safe :

• All files sent to our cloud are automatically deleted right after the process is completed.
• We never store your files longer than necessary.

So you can use AutoCut with peace of mind — your content stays secure.
