How to use AutoZoom ?

AutoZoom automatically adds dynamic zooms to your edits based on events in your video. Here’s how to set it up and run it:

Step 1: Set your zoom rhythm

Drag the Zoom Rhythm slider to choose the overall pace and intensity of your zooms from calm to very energetic.
This will define how often and how strong your zooms feel throughout the video.

Step 2: Select your triggers

Choose the events that will activate zooms in your timeline:

  • Cut (always on): Adds a zoom at every timeline cut
  • Speaking: Zooms when someone starts or stops talking
  • Emotion (AI): Zooms at the start and end of emotional moments
  • Highlight Meaning (AI): Zooms based on key points, storytelling or any highlight moments identified by AI.

💡 You can combine multiple triggers for a more dynamic result.

Step 3: Set the anchor point & max zoom

Use the preview window to click and set your anchor point: the spot AutoZoom will focus on (e.g., a face, logo, or object).
Adjust the Max Zoom slider to control how close the zoom will go.

Step 4: Choose your zoom style

Pick from three styles: Jump Cut, Smooth, or Snap-in.
You can mix and match to create your own visual effect.

Step 5: Select target & ignored tracks

  • Target Tracks: The video tracks where zooms will be applied
  • Ignore Tracks for Cut Analysis: Tracks that won’t trigger zooms but can still receive zoom effects

Step 6: Preview & launch AutoZoom

Check the preview to see exactly where zooms will be placed and when triggers will activate.
When you’re happy with the result, click Launch AutoZoom to apply the effect to your timeline.

💡 Use the preview to quickly adjust your settings before running AutoZoom for the best result.
