What are the AutoZoom’s settings ?
AutoZoom offers a range of settings to help you control how zoom effects behave in your video. Here's how to customize them for the best results:
Zoom rhythm
This setting defines the overall pace and intensity of the zooms.

You can choose between several presets:
- Very Calm: Minimal zoom activity
- Calm: Light zooms at key moments
- Moderate (default): Balanced rhythm
- Energetic: Frequent and faster zooms
- Hyperactive: Maximum zoom frequency and intensity
Triggers
Zooms are automatically added based on specific events.

You can enable or disable the following triggers:
- Cut (mandatory): Adds a zoom at every timeline cut
- Speaking: Triggers a zoom when someone starts or stops talking
- Emotion (AI): Triggers zooms at the beginning and end of emotional moments (powered by AI detection)
- Highlight Meaning (AI): Triggers zooms based on key points, storytelling or any highlight moments identified by AI.
Anchor point & Max zoom
Define where the zoom should focus and how intense it should be.
- Use the preview screen to manually set the focal point of the zoom: for example, a speaker’s face, a logo, or any object on screen.

- The option “Preview centered on indicator” lets you scrub through your timeline and preview how the anchor point looks at different moments.
- Adjust the zoom intensity with the slider, it defines how much you zoom in (as a percentage of the original frame size).

Zoom Styles
Choose how the zoom animation behaves from sharp to smooth transitions.

Choose how the zoom should behave visually. You can mix and match styles:
- Jump Cut: Instant zoom with no keyframes, sharp and fast
- Smooth: Zoom in and out using smooth keyframes, more cinematic
- Snap-in: A quick progressive zoom, only the beginning is animated
And you can now add sound effects to make your zooms more dynamic. You can use the default ones or add your own custom sounds.
🆕 Camera movement
This option adds a subtle handheld motion to your zoom effects. Instead of a perfectly static frame, the zoom includes a slight camera drift that makes the shot feel more natural and dynamic. This effect helps recreate the look of a real handheld camera, which can make your video feel more organic and less static.

Track selection
Decide which tracks AutoZoom should analyze and where to apply the zooms.
- Target track for zooms
This defines which video tracks AutoZoom will affect. Place graphics or overlays above these tracks if you want them untouched.

- Ignore tracks for cut analysis
Use this to exclude certain tracks from triggering zooms, while still applying zoom effects to them. Ideal for music videos, gaming clips, or layered content.

Preview
The preview helps you visualize where zooms will be placed on your timeline and across your tracks.
It also shows you exactly when triggers are detected (cut, speech, emotion) and when they activate a zoom.

Use it to review the zoom rhythm, check if it matches your creative intent, and fine-tune your settings before applying.
