# 청크를 분할하거나 병합하는 방법

AutoCaptions는 자동으로 텍스트를 **청크**로 분할하지만, 사용자가 완전히 제어하고 조정할 수 있습니다.

## “청크(Chunk)”란 무엇인가요?

청크는 **여러 단어가 함께 표시되는 하나의 자막 그룹**입니다.

예시:
* “This is great” → 1 청크
* “This / is / great” → 3 청크

청크를 조절하면 자막의 리듬과 가독성을 관리할 수 있습니다.

## 청크 분할 방법

자막을 더 작은 부분으로 분할하려면:

1. **AutoCaptions**를 엽니다
2. **Caption Editor**를 엽니다
3. 편집하고 싶은 자막을 선택합니다
4. **Split chunks**를 클릭합니다

AutoCut이 문장을 자동으로 더 작은 세그먼트(단어 단위까지)로 분할해줍니다.
이 방법이 역동적이고 임팩트 있는 자막을 가장 빠르게 만드는 방법입니다.

## 청크 병합 방법

여러 청크를 하나로 합치려면:

1. **Caption Editor**를 엽니다
2. 병합하고 싶은 자막들을 선택합니다
3. **Merge chunks**를 클릭합니다

AutoCut이 선택한 자막들을 하나의 자막으로 그룹화합니다.


## 언제 분할하거나 병합해야 할까요?

**청크를 분할할 때:**
* 더 많은 리듬과 임팩트를 주고 싶을 때
* 짧은 형식의 콘텐츠(TikTok, Reels, Shorts)를 편집할 때
* 각 단어를 강조하고 싶을 때

**청크를 병합할 때:** 
* 텍스트가 너무 빠르거나 읽기 어려울 때
* 긴 형식의 콘텐츠를 작업할 때
* 더 자연스러운 읽기 흐름을 원할 때

Caption Editor에서 변경 후 반드시 "**Save"**를 클릭하세요. 저장하지 않으면 편집 내용이 적용되지 않습니다.
