# チャンクを分割・結合する方法

AutoCaptionsは自動的にテキストを**チャンク**に分割しますが、ユーザー自身で完全にコントロール・調整することができます。

## 「チャンク」とは？

チャンクとは、**一つのキャプション内にまとめて表示される単語のグループ**です。

例：
* “This is great” → 1チャンク
* “This / is / great” → 3チャンク

チャンクをコントロールすることで、キャプションのリズムや読みやすさを管理できます。

## チャンクを分割する方法

キャプションをより小さいパートに分割するには：

1. **AutoCaptions**を開く
2. **Caption Editor**を開く
3. 編集したいキャプションを選択する
4. **Split chunks**をクリック

AutoCutが自動的に文をより小さなセグメント（単語ごとまで）に分割します。
これが、ダイナミックで印象的なキャプションを作成する最速の方法です。

## チャンクを結合する方法

複数のチャンクを結合するには：

1. **Caption Editor**を開く
2. 結合したいキャプションを選択する
3. **Merge chunks**をクリック

AutoCutがそれらを1つのキャプションにまとめます。

## いつ分割・結合すべき？

**チャンクを分割する場合：**
* よりリズミカルでインパクトを出したいとき
* 短尺コンテンツ（TikTok、Reels、Shortsなど）を編集するとき
* 各単語を強調したいとき

**チャンクを結合する場合：**
* テキストが速すぎたり読みづらいと感じるとき
* 長尺コンテンツを作成しているとき
* より自然な読みやすさを求めるとき

**Caption Editor**で変更を加えた後は、必ず「**Save**」をクリックしてください。そうしないと、編集内容が反映されません。
