# Why is AutoCut not opening on MacOS?

If AutoCut does not open correctly on your macOS computer, this may be caused by a corrupted state. Follow these steps to fix the issue:

###### 1. Close AutoCut

###### 2. Open the Application Support folder
* Open the finder
* Go into "Go > Go to folder"
* Type "~/Library/Application Support/" and press "Enter"

###### 3. Remove the AutoCut folder
* Find and delete the AutoCut folder

###### 4. Restart AutoCut
Once you’ve updated the environment variables, restart your computer and try launching AutoCut again.
