# Why doesn’t AutoCut work with cracked versions of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve ?

# Why this matters

AutoCut is designed to work **only with official, licensed versions** of Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

If your editing software hasn’t been purchased or activated through a legitimate channel, we **cannot guarantee proper installation or performance** of the plugin.
