# Why do I need at least two audio tracks ?

AutoCut Podcast analyzes your audio tracks to detect who is speaking and automatically switches to the appropriate camera in real time.

### Minimum Requirements

To work properly, **AutoCut Podcast requires at least two audio tracks**, each recorded from a **separate microphone**.

|| 💡 You can use as many audio tracks as you like — there's no upper limit.


### Why One track Isn’t enough?

If all voices are recorded on a single track, AutoCut can’t tell who’s speaking and won’t be able to switch cameras correctly.
