# How to use your license key on another computer ?

Your AutoCut license key is linked to your computer and cannot be used simultaneously on **two different devices**. However, it can be used on Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve at the same time, on the same computer.

If you want to use your license key on another computer, you can dissociate your key from your current computer.

### Dissociate your key

To do this, go to your customer dashboard. Select the key you want to dissociate, then click the **Dissociate** button. The process will be completed automatically.

After this, you can use your license key on **another computer**.

|| 💡 If you wish to use your license key on your old computer again, you can relink it.

### Dissociation limit

Each AutoCut license key can be dissociated up to **3 times**. This limit helps prevent license key sharing and abuse. As a reminder:
* **1 license key = 1 user**
* sharing a key between multiple users is not allowed
If you need AutoCut on multiple computers for different users, we recommend purchasing additional licenses from your customer dashboard.
