# How to use AutoCaptions ?

**AutoCaptions** lets you create animated, word-by-word subtitles in just a few clicks — fully customizable and now available in 80+ languages with instant translation.

### Step 1: Select your language
Choose the audio language from over [80 supported options](https://knowledge.autocut.com/en/article/what-languages-are-supported-by-autocut-lpbjja/) for precise transcription. Or pick an SRT file if you already have one.
You can also load a previous transcription.

### Step 2: Define captions design
Customize your animated subtitles with AutoCaptions' parameters. Adjust color, size, font, and transitions.
