# How to use AutoB-Rolls ?

[AutoB-Rolls](https://www.autocut.com/en/autobroll/) helps you automatically enhance your edits by adding relevant visuals to your video. You can use existing stock footage or generate AI-based images to bring your content to life without manually searching for visuals. Watch our quick YouTube tutorial to get started :

# Step 1: Choose Language & Set AI Prompt Style

Start by selecting the language of your video’s audio.

Then, define your AI prompt style: this setting influences the type of images that will be generated later. You can adapt the prompt to match the tone, theme, or aesthetic of your video content.

# Step 2: Detect B-Roll Sections

AutoCut gives you 2 options for identifying where to insert B-rolls :
* **Automatic detection** using AI to find the most relevant parts of your transcript
* **Manual selection**: highlight specific transcript sections and click **“Confirm selected transcript”** to mark them for B-roll insertion

Choose the method that best suits your editing process.
# Step 3: Add B-Rolls (Stock or AI-Generated)

Once your B-roll sections are selected, choose the type of content you want to insert :
* **Existing stock footage:** Video clips from [Pexels](https://www.pexels.com/fr-fr/) or [Storyblocks](https://www.storyblocks.com/).
* **AI-generated images:** Still images based on your earlier prompt

AutoB-Rolls will insert the selected media at the chosen positions in your timeline. You can also enable "**Auto-Fill"** so AutoCut automatically finds relevant B-rolls or images for each section.

You will then be able to review the inserted media and replace it if it doesn’t match your needs.
