# How to fix DaVinci error when launching any AutoCut process?

If DaVinci Resolve shows an error modal when you try to run any AutoCut process (for example, even a simple one like *automatic noise level detection in AutoCut Silences*), the issue often comes from the missing **AutoCutRender export configuration**.

Follow the steps below to fix it:

###### 1. Check if the “AutoCutRender” configuration is available

* Open DaVinci Resolve.
* Go to your **Deliver** page.
* In the render presets, look for the configuration called **AutoCutRender**.

|| 💡 If it is present → skip to step 3

###### 2. Re-install the “AutoCutRender” configuration

If the configuration is missing or not working properly:
* First, delete any broken **AutoCutRender** preset.
* Download the correct file [here](https://cdn.autocut.tech/0_manual/AutoCutRender.zip)
* Extract the zip file on your computer. You should have a `AutoCutRender.xml`
* In DaVinci Resolve, go back to the **Deliver** page.
* Import the `.xml` file into your render presets.

###### 3. Relaunch AutoCut

After importing the configuration:
* Restart DaVinci Resolve.
* Run your AutoCut process again.
✅ The error should now be resolved.
