# How to create and share your referral link?

Once you have joined the AutoCut Referral Program, you will get access to your Referral dashboard from your AutoCut dashboard.

### Create your referral link

To create your referral link:
1. Open the Referral dashboard
2. Click on Create a link
3. Choose a custom name for your link
4. Generate your referral link

Your link is now ready to be shared however you want: with friends or colleagues, on social media, in videos or communities or directly with other creators

### What happens when someone uses your link?

When someone opens your referral link, they are redirected to a special AutoCut homepage with a dedicated referral banner. They can then request their free trial key and will receive it by email.

Thanks to your referral link, they get access to an exclusive **30-day free trial** instead of the standard 14 days. 

### Track your referrals

As soon as someone requests a trial key through your referral link, they will appear in your Referral dashboard. You can track their status directly from the dashboard:
* **Pending activation:** the trial key was requested but not activated yet
* **Activated:** the free trial was activated successfully

Once a referral reaches the Activated status, you automatically receive **€10 credit** for your next AutoCut subscription payment.
