# How to become an AutoCut Podcast Expert ?

Ready to take your editing to the next level? Here’s everything you need to master even the most advanced podcast workflows with AutoCut Podcast.

### 1. Fine-Tune Your Camera Switching

Understanding **minimum and maximum camera durations** is key to achieving a natural, dynamic rhythm in your edit.

👉 Learn how to set them up here: [AutoCut Podcast Settings](https://knowledge.autocut.com/en/article/how-to-set-autocut-podcast-1q8xm52/)

### 2. Master Complex Setups

Not every podcast has a perfect setup — and that’s okay. AutoCut Podcast adapts.

*Example: 4 Speakers, 3 Microphones*
*If Amélie and Alexandre share a mic (Track A2), just assign them both to that track in the settings. AutoCut will still identify speaker changes and switch cameras intelligently.*

###### Need a Wide Shot?

If your setup lacks a wide camera, you can easily create one by combining close-ups:

### 3. Working with One Camera ? No Problem

Even with a single camera, you can simulate multi-cam editing by creating zoomed-in versions of your footage.
👉 Follow this guide: [Using AutoCut Podcast with a Single Camera](https://knowledge.autocut.com/en/article/can-i-use-autocut-podcast-with-a-single-camera-wzk5sk/)

### 4. Prioritize Your Speakers

When multiple people speak at the same time, AutoCut uses **Speaker Priority** to decide who gets the spotlight.
* `Normal` – Standard level (default)
* `High` – For key voices, co-hosts, or regular guests
* `Very High` – For the main host or most important speaker

|| 💡 This ensures cleaner cuts and better storytelling when conversations overlap.

### 5. Save Time with Presets

If you frequently edit podcasts with the same setup, **save your configuration as a preset**.

Presets store:
* Microphone assignments
* Camera visibility and layout
* Speaker priorities
No need to redo the setup every time — just load your preset and start editing!
