### Step 1 – Prepare your timeline
In Premiere Pro:
1. Select all the video tracks corresponding to your **first speaker**.
2. Separate the two audio tracks so that each speaker has their own dedicated audio layer.
| Tip : You can go to the **“Label”** menu and change the **track color** to help visually distinguish each speaker more easily in the timeline.

### Step 2 – Open AutoCaptions
1. Go to **“Extensions”** in the top menu.
2. Launch **AutoCut**, then click on the **AutoCaptions** feature.

### Step 3 – Define the first speaker’s section
In the **“Define Sections”** step:
1. Select **only the audio track** that corresponds to the first speaker.
2. This ensures the transcription and captions will be generated for this speaker only.

### Step 4 – Choose the language and open the editor
1. Select the correct language for the captions.
2. Click **“Open Captions Editor”** to move to the styling step.

### Step 5 – Set the caption style for Speaker 1
In the **“Edit Style”** panel:
1. Choose or customize the style you want to apply for the first speaker’s captions.
2. You can adjust colors, animations, font, and more.

### Step 6 – Set position and size
1. Adjust the **position** and **size** of the captions to match your layout.
2. Once you're happy with the result, click **“Apply Style”**.

### Step 7 – Review and generate captions
1. Double-check the transcription and edit the text if needed.
2. When everything looks good, click **“Add Captions”**.
3. You’ve now completed the animated captions for your **first speaker**.

### Step 8 – Repeat for the second speaker
1. Go back to **“Define Sections”**.
2. This time, select the audio track corresponding to the **second speaker**.

### Step 9 – Style the captions for Speaker 2
1. In **“Edit Style”**, choose a **different caption style** for the second speaker.
| Tip : For visual consistency, use the same position and size as the first speaker’s captions.

### Step 10 – Review and add captions for Speaker 2
1. Review the transcription and make any necessary text adjustments.
2. Click **“Add Captions”** once you're done.
You’ve now created distinct animated captions for both speakers — perfect for any podcast or interview workflow.
