What triggers a camera switch in AutoCut Angles?
AutoCut Angles offers four switch triggers. You can enable several at the same time, and AutoCut merges them into one set of candidate switch points.

Watch the settings demo: Configure triggers and shot duration.
Existing cuts
Existing cuts respects razor cuts that you already placed on the selected camera tracks. Use it when you have already marked important moments manually and want AutoCut to include them in its switching logic.
Silences
Silences finds pauses and the start of new sentences in the selected voice track. It is useful for switching at natural breaks in speech.
Emotion (AI)
Emotion (AI) detects spikes in emotional intensity and makes those moments eligible for a camera change. This can help emphasize energetic or expressive passages.
Transcript (AI)
Transcript (AI) looks for natural moments in the transcript, such as topic shifts or punchlines. Select the language shown in the trigger settings before running the analysis.
Combining triggers
You can enable any combination that fits your content. A broad combination gives AutoCut more eligible switch points; a smaller selection gives you more specific control over why the camera changes.
Camera priority and shot duration
Camera priority biases how frequently each angle is chosen. It does not guarantee a fixed amount of screen time, and each cut still lands on a different camera.
Shot duration defines the minimum time before a new trigger can change the camera again. Start around 2–3 seconds for a balanced rhythm, then adjust it to match your editing style.
