What is AutoCut Angles?

AutoCut Angles automatically switches between visual angles in single-speaker videos. It analyzes one voice track, uses the switch logic you choose, and builds a ready-to-refine edit in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.

What can you use as an angle?

Each selected video track becomes an available angle. You can use:

  • Footage from different cameras
  • A wide shot and a close-up
  • Different crops or zoom levels made from the same recording

Your tracks must already be aligned on the timeline before you run AutoCut Angles.

How does AutoCut choose when to switch?

Choose one or more switch triggers: Existing cuts, Silences, Emotion (AI), and Transcript (AI). AutoCut combines the enabled triggers into a single set of candidate switch points.

You can also adjust each camera's relative priority and set a minimum shot duration. Priorities influence how often an angle appears, but they are not fixed screen-time percentages. Every switch lands on a different camera.

AutoCut Angles or AutoCut Podcast?

  • One speaker, multiple angles: use AutoCut Angles.
  • Multiple speakers: use AutoCut Podcast, which switches cameras according to who is speaking.

💡 A single microphone track is enough for a typical AutoCut Angles setup.

Two editing workflows

  • Direct editing cuts the selected camera tracks. Inactive clips can be disabled or removed.
  • Multi-Camera editing keeps the source footage in place and creates a multicam sequence that is easy to refine afterward.
